Spectacular Times 01: Images

The Spectacular Times booklets were compiled and edited by Larry Law in the late 70s/early 80s, serving as a brief introduction to the ideas of Situationism. Each consisted of newspaper clippings, quotations, handwritten text by Law and illustrations, witty and still relevant.

For many years various anarchist publishers in the UK have talked about reprinting the classic Spectacular Times pocket book series. Discussions about how to package them, and how to edit them were had and money was even lent for scanning purposes. At long last Active and Agit Press a have come up with the goods. All original 14 booklets are reprinted as they were (except for colour covers) and a new booklet The Story of Spectacular Times, Paradise Lost has been produced. They are available as individual booklets and also as a box set, in a full colour card open box.
